What you'll learn
• How to be a responsible and ethical hunter.
• Hunting laws and regulations.
• Wildlife management.
• How to prepare for the outdoors.
• How to identify wildlife.
• Field techniques.
• Firearm safety.
If you were born after April 1, 1987 you have to take the HEED course to get a hunting licence. Participants need to complete the online part of the class before the classroom session. Learn more about the online component at Yukon.ca/hunter-education
