Town of Watson Lake Official Community and Strategic Plans

Strategic Plans and Official Community Plans (OCPs) are high-level guiding documents used by municipalities across Canada.
In Watson Lake, these plans reflect our community's unique priorities, values, and vision for the future, shaping how we grow, deliver services and preserve what makes our Town unique and special.

Strategic Plan

The Strategic Plan is developed by Mayor and Council, with support from municipal administration, to set the Town’s direction over the council term. It identifies key priorities, goals, and initiatives that guide how resources are allocated and services are delivered. This plan ensures that day-to-day operations align with Council’s vision and the evolving needs of the community.
